Luckily, most bathroom light fixtures are relatively easy and inexpensive to replace. This will give help contribute not only to the room’s new look, but can also light it in ways it hasn’t been before. There’s one thing you should know about light fixtures: the images online don’t always do them justice. We recommend going to your local home improvement stores and checking them out in person. You’ll get a much better perspective on how they will look in your bathroom.
Know your skill level
Doing much of the remodeling work yourself can save you a lot of money, but if there’s a specific part of the job you’re not comfortable with, there’s no shame in calling a professional. While you might be a great painter, you might not have any experience with electrical work. Utilizing the services of a professional will not only ensure the job is done well, but that it saves you money in the long run.
Refinish what you can
When you’re planning your bathroom renovation, it’s important that you make a determination of what it still usable and what isn’t. If the tiles or fixtures in your shower are more dirty that old or outdated, than a simple deep cleaning might be all that’s needed. You’d be surprised how much of a difference this can make.
